The Flume Trail is a walkway built on top of a 200 year old wooden pipe diverting water from Gold Creek, the site of the main gold strike in Juneau. A walk up - yup, you guessed it - Gold St from downtown winds into the hills, across an impressive curved wooden vehicle bridge, and out to an interesting Mining Museum, but the return trip on top of the flume was the real highlight. Plus, you're dumped out in the hills on the opposite end of Juneau and can circle back by the Governor's Mansion to wherever you started. @lauradomela and @weaselmouth This is a fun one for when you're in town. #juneau #flumetrail
