Just one more from the glacier that's just too good not to post. I neglected to mention that the reason it was so important that we get to Juneau yesterday was that we were meeting some of my family who had just finished an Inside Passage boat trip and only had a few days to hang out. When we all got to the glacier this morning, there were a lot of people despite the pouring rain, but as the clouds cleared a bit, so did the crowd, and we had the spit at the base of Nugget Falls all to ourselves. That's when things got a little silly posing with my niece for my sis-in-law's signature mid-air jump pic. And yes, we do have two of these Deuter KidComfort II backpacks. We'd had one for Wynne since she was tiny(er) and bought a second off CraigsList a while back in Vancouver for Mae. #mendenhallglacier #juneau
