Monkey Face is a 350 ft spire, overhanging on all four sides, with some of the hardest climbs in the world on its faces. There are also a few "aid" routes, meaning climbers use either bolts or other types of anchors to make upward progress through the sections that are too hard to climb. Apparently, from one angle, it resembles a monkey face, but all I could think was #thatlookslikeadick. Check out @advodna_ann's pic of a climber rappelling off the top with a snow capped volcano in the background! #smithrock #monkeyface #immature
