Okay, last one from Devils Tower and mostly just posting as an excuse to ask for advice on the Black Hills and Custer State Park. We'll stay there for two nights before heading to the Badlands (then we *really* have to start making progress east). I see the reviews of Blue Bell and Center Lake on @campendium, but would love some input on what to do in the area with only one full day. Custer's supposed to be an interesting town? Nevermind the 867 foot tower formed when magma cooled and formed a plug deep within a volcano only to be revealed 50 million years later when the surrounding soil eroded, check out those prairie dogs!
