Found this great little food truck right on the beach. Specials so far have been green Thai curry, housemade caviar, salmon chowder and French press coffee. I think it's called TastyMog or something. (@perkymog) Here @bodeswell_vw enjoys a fresh brewed cup.

Obligatory "It's not always glamorous" / laundry day pic. Actually, I prefer getting it all done at once. Plus, we always find something fun and local to do while waiting. Right now, we're hanging out in the funky vintage van that's been made part of the play area in front of the Sourdough Express Bakery & Cafe. The sign says "This van baked its way up the Alaska Highway." Apparently, the 1972 Chevy P-10 Van arrived in Homer in 1982, having sold fresh bread baked in a propane oven pulled behind on a trailer to fund the journey. When they first got here, they parked the rig on the Homer Spit and set up shop. #lifeontheroad #homer #laundryday

Nice relaxing walk on the beach after lunch and music on the deck at the Two Sister's bakery, until the tsunami warning siren went off... Fortunately, this was only a test.
