Chicken

Decide to get one of these delicious rotisserie chickens to bring home for dinner. Realize I don’t have enough cash. Walk a block to the usual bank with the ATMs in the front lobby. Request $1500MX ($75 USD). Service unavailable. Request $1000MX. Service unavailable. Request $500MX. Service unavailable. Walk eight blocks to the ATM in the hotel lobby that worked that one time. Request $500MX. Service unavailable. Walk across the street to the ATM that has never worked. Request $1500MX. Service unavailable. Request $500MX. One $500MX bill dispensed. Walk across the street to the OXXO (think 7-11) and grab two small packs of Chips Ahoy since they’re one of the only places that will break a $500MX bill. Avoid eye-roll at buying $2 in cookies with what is basically a twenty. Collect change. Walk four blocks back to chicken place. #adayinthevida
