Lucky for us, Michiganders can't handle a little bit of cold (#weretotallygonnagetkickedoutofthestate 😜), and temps in the mid 40's on Sunday allowed us to score one of the first-come lakeside sites at Pictured Rocks National Seashore on a holiday weekend. . This path cuts through the bluff behind our site and descends to a white sand beach that seems to go on forever, though I bet there's a clue to its actual length in its name, Twelvemile Beach. Waves coming across Lake Superior break on the shore, and we have to remind ourselves we're not at the ocean.
