It only took us 3 hours to drive all the way across Ontario today! Okay, we only drove across the narrow spit south of Toronto, but it was definitely the first day we really felt like we were heading west. . Two border crossings (in and out of Canada) without any problems, even after my inevitable verbal diarrhea disclosed that we'd been on the road for two years and were basically derelict tramps. Turned out the border agent was friends with @free2breatheblog, another traveling family, and loved it.#myhousewifewasrelieved . Knowing we had a long way to go across to the UP, we booked a site at a KOA midway where we could do some laundry, fill up propane and take advantage of unlimited water.
