Mae just turned two and is in that awkward phase where she doesn't wanna miss anything that might be going on. That makes naps tricky. In the past with both kids, we've always been fairly regimented with naps, seeing kids passed out in their lunches or draped over a parents shoulder, we'd comment, "Our kids would never do that." But after fighting Mae to go to bed at night, we've recently decided to let naps slip. If they happen, they happen. Well, one happened yesterday out on the island and we were able to transfer her down onto a blanket under a tree. I was tempted to join her. But of course, she was a handful at bedtime...
