Sometime around the summer of '74 or '75, my grandfather Winthrop (who Wynne is named after) loaded his daughter's family who were visiting from California into an old station wagon, hitched up an A frame camper and drove them the 4 hours from Charlotte, N.C. to Hunting Island, S.C. for a weekend of camping.
