Our plan for 2016 involved a loop from Boston (where we left our trailer in late 2015) down to Austin, TX via Lexington (bourbon trail!), Memphis, Nashville, and the Hill Country. From there, we'd tag San Antonio, meet up with friends in Padre Island and then head back eastward towards Galveston and New Orleans.
We'd continue on to the Emerald Coast and the Florida Panhandle before turning up the Atlantic Coast. After Savannah and Charleston, we cut inland to visit family in Atlanta, attended Merlefest, visited friends in Asheville and then headed up the Blueridge Parkway on the way back up to Boston in June.
In July, we'll fly back to CA for a music festival and to catch up with family and friends. The plan is to return to the trailer in late July to make our way up to Nova Scotia and back down to explore the Maine Coast and New England after Labor Day. By November, we'd plan to head quickly back across country to California, where have a vision for a new chapter of balanced travel and community life from a new home base (details coming) right in downtown Petaluma after almost two years full-time on the road.
