Took a short walk to scout the other sites farther up the road. While we only got far enough on the walk for a family pic in front of the epic Tetons, in the afternoon, Wynne and I drove the entire length of Shadow Mountain Road all the way north to the "fabled" Upper Teton View sites. The verdict? I actually prefer being up a little higher at Shadow Mountain and the sites are much more private here. Inside info from @malimish_airstream is that Shadow Mountain site I couldn't get into last night can be accessed coming back down the hill (but it's still a step basher) and after seeing both today, I give "THE" spot at Shadow the edge over "THE" spot at Upper Teton (sorry @sethkhughes and @findingmarshall).
