You know the baby's nap is important when you decide not to stop on the way out of town with only half a tank and no real idea of the next gas. By the time we checked, we had 67 miles to go and a range of 40 on the trip computer. Even my best attempts at "hyper-miling" only yielded 12 mpg on the curvy, hilly road. 50 miles later, the baby was still sleeping, but we managed to stop long enough to dump the extra 2 gallons we carry for the generator in the tank and make it to the station just as she woke up. #roadraised [This paragraph break is specifically for @wandrly] Another hour down the road and we're settled into a free First Nation campground beside the mighty Yukon River with just a few more hours tomorrow to get to Whitehorse. #airstream #airstreamwithkids #airstreamtoalaska #liveriveted #myrivetedlife #yukonriver
