Despite being anxious to get down to the Kenai, we couldn't quite convince ourselves to leave our #moochdocking spot next to @ageespice's parents, @violetgrass78's, geodesic dome house near the base of Flattop Mountain. Instead, we spent the day unpacking, letting the kids catch up on sleep and re "airganizing". Whenever we leave the trailer, we return to the relative simplicity of the trailer with the impulse to get rid of even more stuff. In the afternoon, I took a large garbage bag of kids clothes and toys down to the Big Brothers and Sisters donation center. It was kinda funny opening the back hatch to grab the bag, since we were there to give stuff away, but the tightly packed truck still made us look like hoarders. It's our entire garage in there! One last stop at Target to grab a replacement for the hanging shelves in Ann's closet that met their match somewhere along the Denali Park Road, a propane fill and we should be ready to go tomorrow. #airstream #airstreamtoalaska #liveriveted #myrivetedlife #geodesicdome
