This afternoon, we took a short bike ride down the coast towards El Capitan State Beach. While we were stopped short by a section of the path that had been eroded away (tho possibly still passable via a dirt bypass too narrow for our bike trailer), we had a nice ride and passed some popular looking surf breaks accessible only from pullouts off the highway. This view is looking back towards the point at the north end of Refugio State Beach.
