Last week, attendees at @joehendricks' night photography clinic in Moab National Park were treated to a thorough and professional overview of practical techniques for capturing inspiring nighttime scenes. . Last night's attendees at my impromptu fireside nocturnal photography symposium taking place on a mesa that the military used to launch monkeys off of to test ejection seats just outside of Zion National Park demonstrated some of the same techniques but was... well... less inspiring. .
